UN - Endangered Species 2020

UN – Endangered Species 2020

DESCRIPTION

On 17 February UNPA will issue its 2020 Endangered Species stamps focusing on the plight of migratory species. For this year’s series, UNPA has partnered with both the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) as well as the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species (CMS) to help raise awareness about the plight of these endangered animals.

The stamps will be issued in conjunction with the thirteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS COP13) which will be held from 15-22 February 2020 in Gandhinagar, India.
